Publication ethics and malpractice statement

The brand “Anagnorisis” is properly registered. Therefore, it is totally prohibited use it without express authorization. Anagnorisis. Theatrical Research Journal is an open journal access specialized in theatrical area, which makes a commitment to the academic community by ensuring the ethics and quality of its published articles. As a benchmark, our journal uses the Code of Conduct and Good Practices which, for scientific journals, is defined for editors by the PUBLICATION ETHICS COMMITTEE (COPE).


Editorial responsibilities

Editors and Scientific committee have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article.
Editors should have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept.
Editors only accept papers unpublished before and of scientific relevance.
When errors are found, the editors promote publication of correction or retraction.
Editors preserve anonymity of reviewers and authors until the publication.
Editors don’t be culpable for any damages from malpractice by the authors.
Editors are exempt from any liability for the malfunction of the Website or any of its service which is caused by the accidental circumstances, necessary maintenance or any other cause.


Publication and authorship

The list of references is available in the Website in “Paper submission rules” http://www.anagnorisis.es/?page_id=235&lang=en
In the publication, the financial support and institutional affiliations are always cited, as well as an e‑mail direction of authors.
Plagiarism and fraudulent data are not allowed in our publication. If this case happens, the editors will immediately remove the publication.
It’s forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal.


Authors’ responsibilities

The authors are obliged to participate in peer review process.
All authors have significantly contributed to the research, statement that all data in article are real and authentic.
All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.
All authors should not pay any participation fee to submit their publications.


Peer review/ Responsibility of reviewers

Judgments should be objective.
Reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders.
Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited.
Reviewed articles should be treated confidentially.


Readers’ responsibilities:

Readers are only authorized to view, print, copy or store the contents of the publication for personal and private purposes.
Readers are obliged to cite direct references to the article or any contents of the Website.
Any other use requires express and written authorization.
